Brand Identity Development
The first thing consumers notice about a company, product, social media post, or personal brand is the way it looks. The second thing they notice is the way those visual elements make them feel. As humans, we are visual creatures that depend heavily on our senses to tell us if we can trust something, believe in something, or if we'd like to purchase what that visual is trying to sell.

Needless to say, the branding and visual identity of a company are incredibly important. As a designer, I pay close attention to the brands that surround me on a daily basis, and having the opportunity to develop some of those brands is my favorite part of the process.

When developing a brand's identity, I first speak with the client about their vision for the company, their values, and mission, how they would like others to perceive their brand, their target audience, and how they foresee themselves using branded products. It may seem like a lot of information but all of those things factor into how I put together their visual identity.
